A huge turnout today as a record number take part in the 40th Dublin Marathon.
Over 22,500 runners are taking part today.
A number of international elite runners will compete against Ireland's top athletes as they battle it out while Irish athletes will also be competing for national titles.
More importantly, there are 13 runners who have competed in all the Dublin marathons since it began.
That means they have already competed in 39 and our signed up for their 40th this year.
One of these is a woman from Wicklow, Mary Nolan Hickey, who is the only woman to have finished all of the marathons so far which is a massive achievement.
