Until recently, Aungier Street had always been a little bit underserved in terms of quality food, drink and coffee.
Not that it was too much of a problem with Camden Street and George's Street only a stone's throw away – but once you passed the Bald Barista, it always seemed like an oddly barren spot on an otherwise buzzing strip.
Thankfully, that's all changed recently. First, there was the exploding popularity of Aungier Danger; then there was the Dublin Pizza Company – and now, there's Network.
Serving 3fe coffee, and with a hefty investment in some serious coffee-making kit, owner Oliver Cruise says that he doesn't want it to become a grab'n'go spot focused on churning out as many cups a day as possible – but rather, a place where people hang around and... um... network.
Sounds good to us.
As you might expect.
A sweet little addition to an increasingly vibrant neck of the woods.
