59 cars have been damaged in an unlawful vandalising spree overnight, with the acronym 'ISIS' scraped onto the bonnet of many of the cars.
The debauchery happened in Castleknock Park, Dublin 15 between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
Gardai are trying to establish who was behind the attacks and are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at Castleknock Park in Dublin between 11pm last night and 7am this morning.
Messages such as 'ISIS Kill Family' have been noticed on some cars.

A source spoke to Dublin Live about the harrowing incident:
“There are some very crazy people out there. The person or people behind this damaged up to 50 vehicles with inscriptions like ‘ISIS’ and other strange words.”
The Garda Press Office released a statement following the crime:
“Gardai at Blanchardstown are investigating a number of criminal damage incidents to vehicles which occurred in the Castleknock Park area of Dublin between 11pm on 24th and 7am on 25th April 2017.''
Garda are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious or anyone who may have CCTV or dash cameras to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 6667000.
