More Bars and Restaurants Planned For Georges Street Property

We wrote recently about how the Jaipur restaurant on Georges Street had to close due to the selling of the building it was located within, it was revealed this week that the entire building, which was sold for over €6m, is going to be converted into a number of restaurants and bars.

The new owner has the choice of two planning permissions: to either demolishing the entire property, apart from the facade, to host a number of retail and office facilities; or to refurbish and extend the existing building into three separate retail units. Either way, we're excited to see what this stunning, Victorian style building will be turned into. The location is one of the most exciting in the city for food and drink, with tonnes of restaurants and bars operating within the Georges Street, Drury Street, South William Street and Fade Street areas.
