UFC 229 is nearly just a month away and McGregor's comeback fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov is going to be the most talked about event...since McGregor fought Mayweather in 2017.
Whatever it is about the Crumlin man no matter what he does, good or bad, it's hyped up to the maximum.
And is comeback fight will be no different.
But, anyone who was hoping for a worldwide press conference tour and/or a sneaky event here in the capital, we're sorry to disappoint but it ain't happening it seems.
Ariel Helwani revealed the location of the press conference on this ESPN show and speculated that it's the only one that this fight will get.
"I just can't wait to see them in the same room together, face to face. I hear they are going to do a press conference in New York. They're not going to do a world tour... Can you imagine them going to Dublin, can you imagine them going to Moscow for a press conference?"
"That would be the most unbelievable thing in the history of combat sports, but it sounds like they are not going to do it. Part of me is a little upset and a part of me is thinking that maybe they don't need to do it."
Next fight - press conference in the 3Arena, fight in Croke Park, please.
