A maisonette house in Dublin has come under fire on RTÉ's Liveline. The tiny house was a huge talking point on Tuesday's show because of its price.
The small 474-square-foot maisonette home is going for a whopping €330,000 in Dublin at the moment.
Situated at No.18 St Joseph's Square in Clontarf, it has one bedroom, one bathroom, Kitchen and Living Room all based on a ground floor.
The description of the room reads:
"Perfectly located in a small quiet cul de sac in the heart of Clontarf, only 100 meters from the Seafront. The accommodation currently comprises of living room, kitchen/breakfast room, bathroom, utility/storage room.
"The bedroom to the rear has a door opening out to a small, but private rear yard, with a westerly facing aspect. Very attractive square to the front with on street parking.
"Location could not be more perfect - just 1 minutes stroll to Clontarf Village and all its renowned restaurants, bars, coffee houses, shopping, schools, churches, bus and Dart services and Clontarf Promenade.
"Also close by are St Annes Park, Bull Island and many sporting and recreational facilities. Easy access is enjoyed to the city centre, IFSC, East Point Business Park, Dublin Airport, Mater Hospital, Trinity and DCU, M1 & M50 motorways."
One caller on the RTÉ Radio programme said the enormous price did not reflect on the actual house itself.
"It’s actually laughable, and the only reason it is that price is because of where it is.”
“This is what we’re left with... this is a joke.”
