It’s Bleedin’ Baltic – But It Will Get Warmer Later On In The Day

So unless you've jetted off for a quick holiday over the past few days - you'll have noticed that Dublin's weather is absolutely FREEZING this morning.

Every conversation in work, at home and with your mates is about how baltic it is, and we're adding to that list right now by saying it's all about to change. 

Thank God.

According to Met Éireann:

''Some sunny spells today and dry apart from patchy light rain and drizzle over parts of west Munster and west Connacht.  Frost, icy patches and remaining fog clearing this morning and temperatures rising to between 6 and 10 degrees in freshening southeasterly winds becoming strong on Atlantic coasts later.''

6 - 10 degrees!

We won't know ourselves. 

And as for tonight:

''Cold, windy and most cloudy tonight, but occasional clear spells in some eastern and northern parts. Patches of light rain and drizzle at times, mainly in southern and some western areas, but most other areas dry. Lowest temperatures zero to plus 2 C., over many northern and eastern areas, with some frost under any cloud breaks, but higher values of 3 to 6 C., over Munster and west Connacht.''

Not too bad at all. We can manage that.

Bring on the southeasterly winds, we say.
