Planning a Dublin day out with the girls can often be more hassle than it's worth — finding parking in the city centre is a nightmare, you need to trek from Henry Street to Grafton Street to hit all the shops you want, and don't even get us started on agreeing on somewhere to eat.
However, it turns out there's a much easier way to have an ultimate girlie day out without the stress — take a little trip to Liffey Valley. The shopping centre has undergone some intriguing overhauls and now feels like one of those outlet villages in the US.
From an early breakfast (gotta stock up on energy for all those heavy shopping bags y'know), straight through to lush pampering and retail therapy, there's even a hip cocktail bar in the centre for a little pick-me-up at the end of the day.
Living the Clueless lifestyle is thirsty work, after all.
We've put a few suggestions together to help you have the best, most girlie, day out at Liffey Valley...
If you don't start your day off with coffee, does it ever really begin? Exactly.
Butlers do a fab range of all the usuals, including non-dairy milks and 12 different types of hot chocolate, because #treatyoself.
You'll get a complimentary choccie with every drink and there's a lovely outdoor seating area to people watch on a sunny day.
With its pop-art colours and funky furniture, Sugar Dolls is pretty as a picture. If you're popping in to get your nails done, we'd advise their Shellac two-week manicure, but be warned, you'll have a tough time deciding which of their wide range of colours to choose from.
Catching up with the girls just isn't the same if you don't chill out over a bite to eat and at Noah & Co. you can enjoy the brunch menu up until 2pm even on weekdays.
You can choose from healthy options, such as Irish yoghurt topped with granola, compote and toasted seeds, or go all out and gorge on the bacon hash with roasted potatoes, chorizo, and veggies topped with two soft poached eggs — how's that sound for a treat?
No more trekking out into the wind to get your hair done, as there's a Peter Mark salon inside the shopping centre. Just think of a blow dry as a nice time saving trick: you won't need to style your hair for the next day or so.
The top quality products here smell divine, and it's a real bonus to chat with the girls as you sip on some tea and flick through a magazine.
The Penneys here is probably one of the best in the entire country when it comes to an organised layout and cute stock in store.
Spread over three floors, you could easily spend over an hour in here picking up the latest clothing and accessories.
This place has one of the coolest interiors we've seen in Dublin, all dim Edison light bulbs and a true New York loft-style feel — the perfect way to end a glamorous day.
The menu has some mouthwatering choices, including whipped goats cheese salad with mango and beet. The cocktails are as satisfying as you'd expect, offering classics as well as signature blends like Bottom Of The Casket, a pretty pink whiskey-based concoction with a dash of red vermouth.
See? Who needs to go anywhere else for the ultimate luxury lah-dies day out when you can have it all under the one roof?
