San Lorenzos is fast becoming the must visit place for brunch in the capital with people being turned away every weekend from their buzzing restaurant. As I told them, one of the only reasons they missed out on the best brunch award at Lovin Dublin Live was because they were so new to the scene in terms of having a thriving brunch menu. Not wanting to rest on their laurels after their early success they are launching 5 new dishes this weekend and they are all sorts of awesome. Some serious brunch porn here...
1. Brunch Tacos - Jerk chicken w/ avocado salsa, fried chorizo, red pepper mayo, iceberg lettuce, coriander, chili and lime.
2. Coco pops crunchy French toast - w/ salt caramelised bananas, peanut butter, mascarpone whipped cream, Belgian chocolate sauce
3. Eggs royale & bubbles - 2 poached eggs w/ Baeri imperial caviar – Astara Paris. Oak smoked salmon on toasted bagel, char-grilled asparagus, hollandaise, home fries and glass of Drappier champagne.
4. Frittata - Oven baked Italian omelette w/ melted brie, baked ham, new potatoes, chives and sprouting broccoli
5. Pulled pork belly hash - Slow roast gremolata rolled pork belly hash potatoes w/ spring onions, boston baked beans and 2 fried eggs
All we can say is wow. You must be licking your lips just thinking about these... Imagine how hard it is for us writing this and adding the pictures!
