Dublin Bus has confirmed it is cancelling all of its Friday services as the bad weather is set to continue.
No buses have been running in the city on Thursday as schools and businesses have shut their doors due to the snow. The public is being advised to remain indoors between 4pm on Thursday and midday on Friday as the country remains under red alert.
A statement from Dublin Bus says it 'will not be in a position to operate any services tomorrow, Friday 2 March. We apologise for the inconvenience caused, however this decision has been made in the interest of the safety of our customers and employees.'
Luas has now also confirmed that trams will not be running for the duration on Friday after finishing up at noon on Thursday.
