Amazing News – The Hottest Day Of The Year Looks Set To Take Place This Week

We've had a glorious weekend but it's not stopping there, as it looks like the week ahead will include the hottest day of the year so far.

Met Éireann has revealed that Tuesday is set to have the highest temperatures of 2016, hitting 27 degrees in places.

The hottest day of the year so far was June 8, having peaked with 25.7 degrees at Shannon Airport, but Tuesday looks like it'll knock that record out of the water.

The outlook looks great for the week in general too, with temperatures expected to hover around the 20 degrees mark.
