A Dublin Architect Firm Has Released A Design For These 112-Storey ‘Vertical Villages’ In The Docklands

If you've ever wondered how Dubliners could be living in the future than this video might give you some idea.

Blackrock firm Bright Design Architects have come up with a radical plan to expand the capital 'upwards' rather than 'outwards'. The company has released a design for a 112-storey co-located living and working space which would include elevated schools, parks and shopping areas.

The project known as 'Habistrata' would see Dubliners residing in high-density vertical villages with a city link to Dollymount strand and a light rail service to Dublin Airport.

The initial design also includes a hospital, a swimming pool, a nursing home as well as a 'Museum Of Dublin' and observation deck at the very top.
