Working at Lovin, I 've been to a LOT of restaurants in Dublin, consequently, I've seen a lot of bathrooms.
Every time I visit somewhere for a feature, I make sure I get the whole experience and feel, this involves analysing the finer print and smaller details. Something I've noticed as of late is I always have to look at the toilet.
Believe it or not, lavatories are a big part of the dining experience. Think about it - how happy do you feel when you come out of the bathroom and you've just rubbed some fancy Molton Brown or Jo Malone hand cream on your hands, or dried them with a towel instead of a rotten dryer that doesn't even work.

Here are some of the best bathrooms I've come across in Dublin:
1. Doolally
Doolally is the newest member of the Press Up group and the bathrooms here are absolutely stunning. Keeping in line with the Indian style, the walls are tiled emerald green with black and white patterned floors and a thick black marble countertop where three hand-painted sink bowls rest.
It's one of those bathrooms that you feel like you're not good enough to be in.
2. Lemon And Duke
Going out on a night out, it's impossible not to have an extended bathroom break to fix your hair and makeup. Lemon and Duke has one of the coolest bathrooms in the city with its own powder room style reception beside the loos.
Here you'll find seats to chill and take five, maybe even read a magazine and also three high stools beside a studio mirror.

3. The Ivy
The Ivy completely knocks it out of the park when it comes to having a fancy bathroom.
Long mirrors, bright lights, patterned wallpaper, marble floors and classic stools - I wish this was my own bathroom.

4. The Liquor Rooms
Beautifully tiled floors, a statement mirror and quirky art hanging from the walls, The Liquor Rooms bathrooms knows how to make a statement.
It's nearly impossible to visit here without taking a selfie in the mirror.

5. Cafe Bombo
One of the most Instagrammable lavatories in the city, Cafe Bombo catches eyes with pink tiled walls and exotic wallpaper.
It even has a pink sink!

6. Bar 1661
Bar 1661 is Dublin's first Poitín bar.
The bathroom here includes a handmade sycamore and oak tree bark and deep marble sink. It's such a great spot for midweek drinks with friends as there's a great atmosphere and amazing drink options available.

7. Thunder Cut Alley
A bit of an edgier bathroom, Thunder Cut Alley has an interesting herd of rubber ducks swimming across the ceiling.
Definitely something to occupy you while you use the loo.
8. 9 Below
9 Below bathrooms are super glam with Jo Malone moisturiser and hand soap to keep you smelling GORJ.
Black sliding doors will welcome you to your loo and pretty tiles decorate the floor.
