Culture Night is back and this year it's set to be bigger than ever with hundreds of events happening around the city and beyond.

Wrap yourself in culture, as venues and public spaces open their doors to host a programme of free late-night entertainment, as part of this celebration of arts, heritage and culture. Returning for its fourteenth year, Culture Night 2019 will take place on Fri Sep 20th. Here are the events you won't want to miss:

1. Viking Splash Tour

Discover all Dublin has to offer on the iconic Viking Splash Tour. You'll see the tallest Cathedral, unearth stories about our old medieval city and Viking heritage, all before splashing into the Grand Canal Basin to uncover U2’s recording studios.

2. 29 Bride Street

Want to print your very own tote bag? You'll be able to print some of the 29 Bride Street girl's signature designs onto an organic tote to carry all your Culture Night bits home in. 29 Bride Street specialises in hand printing Irish Linen for homewares and accessories. This looks like a lot of fun.

3. Meeting House Square

Located in the heart of Temple Bar, Meeting House Square will become a musical hub on Culture Night. There will be a family rave on during the day and from 9pm onwards, District Magazine will host some exciting hip hop and spoken word artists. Time: 5pm - 12pm

4. Pearse Lyons Distillery

Whether you are a whiskey enthusiast, culturally curious or just inquisitive, you are sure to enjoy a journey through 800 years of history at St. James with local storytellers. You’ll even get to taste some fine Irish Whiskey - can't say no to that.

5. Bretzel Bakery

The Bretzel Bakery has been a part of Dublin from as far back as 1870.

Formerly the local bakery of the Jewish community, its influences are multi-cultural. On the night there will be talks on the development of sourdough culture from earliest times to the present day and the health benefits of long-fermentation. Smell the gorgeous aroma of freshly baked bread, and take away a sample of starter culture to bake your own bread at home.

6. Atelier Maser

Atelier Maser was set up to showcase the popular Dublin street artist's works along with gallery displays of other up-and-coming artists.

Culture Night will see the launch of a brand new exhibition by Atelier Maser and Apartial. It's set to be a great night so don't miss out!

7. Castle Dracula Experience

Castle Dracula is one of the most unique experiences in Dublin. Enjoy a heart-thumping experience with the incredible characters from Dracula, while learning about Irish writer Bram Stoker.

8. Conradh Na Gaeilge

Sure isn't Culture Night only the perfect opportunity to get clued into Irish culture and history? Conradh na Gaeilge will be doing a tour around their building where Michael Collins and Eamon De Valera once worked. 9. Instagrammers Of Dublin Walking Tour

Discover the most instagrammable spots in Dublin Town, while connecting with local Instagrammers. Bring your camera and be ready to snap. All photography levels are welcome. Meeting Point: Front Arch (Main Entrance of Trinity College Dublin, College Green, D2)

10. Arran Street East

Arran Street East is a buzzing local ceramic studio. On the night, two of Arran Street East’s potters will battle against each other, throwing pieces suggested by attendees. When the potters' finish the audience will judge who wins, considering timing, aesthetic and accuracy.
